Meet the team members
Grace Johnson, Eat and Drink Editor at RedEye Chicago, began her journalism career at Illinois State University, where she graduated with a publishing major and sociology minor. She quickly climbed the ranks at RedEye, attributing her success to her experiences of working at The Vidette and University Marketing while at ISU. The Rockford native enjoys editing, writing and observing people around her, as well as studying the cultural impacts of previous generations and what could come in the future.

Emily Mulligan is the Senior Fashion Editor at W. She's interested in the fashion and entertainment industries. She appreciates fashion's evolution and the cultural and social impacts fashion has. A graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in English-Publishing Studies, Emily has spent time editing and writing for publications like Entertainment Weekly, Harper's Bazaar, and W.

Hannah Peterson graduated ISU with a degree in Publishing and has gone on to work as an editor at large for an entertainment magazine. Her main skill is editing, however her position has provided her with skills in marketing and fundraising. furthermore, her position has shown her in the business side of publishing, the advertising and layout of publications. As of now, she has published works in various journals outside of her entertainment field and thus has a wide range of subject matter at her disposal as well as relationships with publishing distributors and talk shows.

Cayla Eagon is an Associate Professor of British Literature at the University of Colorado--Boulder. Her teaching and research interests include Gothic literature, detective fiction, 19th century literature and culture, and women's and gender studies including sexuality. She has published articles in Nineteenth Century Gender Studies, 19th Century Studies, and Victorian Review. Her current research examines the materiality of female murders and suicides in 19th century novels.
